1 – A great fall season at the CAM!

The fall season at the CAM ended with the traditional « Head of the Fish » in Saratoga at the end of October, after fantastic races from our team in Ottawa, Trent and Boucherville. With nice weather, an impressive number of crews from Montreal regrouping Dawson, Marianapolis, Brebeuf, Selwyn house and our young athletes from the junior development team participated in these races. Congratulations to Nyssa et Sylvain, who rought back the famous « Head of the Fish » trophy (mixed double victory).

Our young team from the new junior program (funded with the support of RBC ad Participaction), some with less than 2 months of experience in rowing, achieved 1st and 2nd places in Ottawa under the guidance of Frank and Jade. In Saratoga, these young athletes, with and age averaging between 14-15 years of age, were able to race against much older and experimented crews and achieve great results. Congratulations to all members for this beautiful season.

Having gathered your comments, Frank and the board members are preparing a even more exciting season with some new features and services.

The winter training is in full swing. For competitive juniors and seniors, the training is located at Complexe Sportif Claude Robillard under the supervision of Frank. Already, almost 30 young athletes train together in order to be ready for the next season.
