The Montreal Rowing Club (MRC) sends you a short newsletter that gives you a glance at the different activities and news of the club.
1 – A great end of the year at the MRC!
Competitive juniors and seniors ended 2015 with great training sessions and took a 2 weeks break before starting again beginning of january. Trainings are located at Complexe Sportif Claude Robillard under the supervision of Frank. Already, almost 30 young athletes train together in order to be ready for the next season.
For our other rowers, the Parc Jean Drapeau has an ergometer and weight room at our disposal. Recreational training sessions are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 18h to 20h. If you want to keep fit, please contact us it is not too late.
2 – New website

4- A 5000$ grant for the MRC
The city of Montreal supports the CAM with a 5000$ grant through his program “local outdoor activity initiatives related to the Water Plan”. This amount will be used to develop the junior rowing program.
5- Parents’ and athletes meeting
Parents and competitive athletes met with the coaches and some members of the board in order to discuss about 2016 season. The calendar of events has been revealed as well as details of the differents programs available. A complete athlete guide will be soon available. For more information, please contact us.

End Féb 2016: Winter Training camp (location and dates to be determined)
28 Féb 2016: Crash B Boston
Beg april 2016: Rowing tank trainings (upon opening date of the rowing tank)
1st week of may 2016: On water training camp – opened to juniors and seniors
3-5 june 2016: CSSRA
