A message from an Olympic Athlete, member of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame

Greetings to all members of the Montreal Rowing Club

In this time of confinement, it is more important than ever to support our rowing club and allow it to continue its activities. The Montreal Rowing Club remains a pillar of rowing in Quebec.

It is with pride that I have been a member of the Montreal Club for a very long time, in the Olympic Basin, a club with which I have been associated throughout my rowing life, both in terms of my international and national activities. The fallout from the 2001 FISA Masters World Rowing Regatta at the Olympic Basin, successfully organized by Montreal Aviron 2001, of which I was president and in which several club members participated, further contributes to the development of rowing in Quebec. It is also with great pride that I chose the Montreal Rowing Club for the filming of the video for my induction into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame last year. The Club enjoys an enviable environment in the Olympic basin, very nice facilities, which also have certain requirements, including a cost to pay.

Join me in supporting the Montreal Rowing Club as part of its current fundraising campaign to remain a strong and dynamic club in Montreal.

All together for the vitality of the Montreal Rowing Club!
